Born out of the success of the Nottingham Classic Tour, the Sherwod, or Sherwood 40 as it was originally named, was organised to celebrate 40 years of Classic Car restoration carried out by Sherwood Restorations at their Upton Fields, Southwell, Nottinghamshire  workshops.

From 2006 the event has already become so popular that the entry has doubled over the following two runs. The 2008 had over 50 entries and was again a succes for both ethe organising club and the sponsors Sherwood Restorations. Gallery images available soon.
